The return of a design classic – the AGA carving board in the shape of the AGA logo. This much requested board weighs in at 2.5kg making it easy to carry from work tops to sinks area.
It features a smooth side for chopping and cutting, and a carving side which features a spiked ring to hold meat in place along with grooves so that the juices can collect in an integrated well around the edge in order to make delicious gravy.
Rubberwood is a light-coloured medium-density tropical hardwood obtained from the Pará rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis), usually from trees grown in rubber plantations. Rubberwood is commonly advertised as an ‘environmentally friendly’ wood, as it makes use of plantation trees that have already served a useful function.
The Oiled Hevea (Rubberwood) Board has been oiled. To clean, simply wipe over the surface with a damp cloth or wash in warm soapy water, do not soak. As with all Woodware, Hevea can dry out with use, so an occasional wipe with food safe wood oil does much to restore the original natural appearance.
