Really useful - but why do they no longer have a loop attached?These pads are really useful and mean that I can put pans on top of the jobs when I've pulled them out of the oven. However, they used to have a loop that let you hang them from the spiral handle of the lid so that they didn't fall off when you open the lid. I now have to buy some herringbone ribbon to make my own.

Smart and so usefulThese pads besides looking smart, keep the lids protected and scratch-free. They allow you to rotate your roasting tray with ease to ensure you have that overall cook! Easy care - wouldn't be without them!

Vital equipmentThese are essential for anyone with an AGA and protect the shiny tops from scratches however the only downside is that the white side of the pad does get dirty quite quickly and although you can pop them in the washing machine, they never get pristine.

Two Are Better Than OneI have two sets: one on and one in the wash!
My Aga lids remain pristine and scratch free. Hot pans and trays can be rested on them and small items dried there. The pads make handy oven cloths.
When they start to wear out, they take on another life: slipped as protection between large pans and serving dishes stored in cupboards.Posted on

All round hit with me!Just bought a new set to replace our (very old and much-used!) previous chef's pads. The pads keep the lids protected and scratch-free, so our AGA always looks brand new! They are great for putting pans and dishes on whilst getting ready to serve dinner - keeping everything warm, and resting the meat. And they wash and wear well.

Wouldn't be without one of these!I really wouldn't be without this chefs pad. It acts as a protection for my Aga lids when cooking. It also doubles up as a heat resistant pad when serving too. Love it.

My new chef's pad is more useful than I could have imagined!I have recently bought a Chef's pad for the first time, after owning an Aga for 39 years and what a revelation! So useful for drying plastic containers on or delicate items of clothing that I wouldn't want to place directly onto the oven. I should have bought one years ago as I realise it would have protected the lids from scratches too.

Chefs pads are so usefulThese are really good - I bought one for each lid and we use them everyday. Since we had just had a refurb including new lids we want to keep them looking good for as long a possible and these mats are excellent protection and store easily.

Looking goodPurchased a new set as my original one is threadbare after 18 years. They always look so stylish and protect the lids really well. A very versatile item.
