NEW Fox and Mouse textiles
Meet our artists and follow the story of how this beautiful exclusive collection has been brought to life for AGA Cookshop.
My love affair with foxes began decades ago when we lived in Hertfordshire, where there was a den in an overgrown garden next door.
Now we live in Norfolk it is a joy to see foxes across the River Bure- easily visible in the late evening sun their sienna coats against the greens of the marsh and reeds.
It has been wonderful to bring to life my vision and feelings towards these wild creatures and share them with you.
I paint in a variety of media but love using watercolour for its unexpected results and beautiful textures. Seeing colours radiate off the paper is every watercolour painter’s goal and this works particularly well in representing the siennas, golds and greys in the coat of the fox.
Meet Jak Rayner
