One pan fits allI bought this pan as a gift, as I have used a similar pan for many years, which has been invaluable. The pan is used for a wide variety of cooking dishes, it's detachable handle is easy to use and allows the pan to be used on top of the Aga as well as in all the ovens, for varying types of cooking dishes. I would not hesitate to recommend this light, easy to clean, versatile pan, which is the most used pan of all my aga pans.

Loyal userJust looking to buy another of these glad to see such excellent reviews as we have had our current one for about 8 years with regular 3/4 times a week use. So if in doubt about the price as I was go for it. Our knob came off lid ( lid is essential ) last year and now non stick seal is going but after 8 years of faithful service I have no issue. Will purchase exact same again. Detachable handle brilliant for multi purpose use.

Invaluable kitchen additionI bought the larger of these two pans (with a deep breath because it's what I would term an investment piece) and I have never regretted it. It is a superb pan for anything you can imagine cooking in it. It does brilliant stir-fries, delicious curries, quick bologneses - everything! I highly recommend purchasing the glass lid to go with it as this creates a lovely casserole pot as well. The handle fits securely and when it is attached, it doesn't feel like a removable handle (there's no wobble) and it clicks off simple and quickly. It is the one and only pan in our house that is used every day without fail.

Almost perfect!!Love the pan - so many uses - on the hob, in the main oven or in simmering oven for heavenly porridge. But, knob handle on lid gets very hot and is a little fiddly to manage with oven glove. Slight modification to this and it would be perfect. Even started using it for cakes and crumbles. Rather expensive but the quality and versatility makes it really good value.

Wish I'd bought it soonerI jibbed at the price of this pan for a long time and used ones I already owned, but finally gave in to temptation when there was a good discount offered. Since then this is one of my most frequently used pans. It's incredibly versatile and the detachable handle is really useful. Worth the money.

For me, it's just perfect!I bought this to replace a previous Aga wok that had done sterling service over many years. It wasn't exactly like the previous pan, but as soon as I began to cook with it, I was delighted. It heats quickly and evenly, is properly non-stick and really does make it possible to stir fry on the hot plate. The glass lid simply completes the arrangement. And as for washing, it cleans with true ease. I can thoroughly recommend this product!

Brilliant all-rounderI purchased this pan after a lot of thought! The lady in the Aga shop recommended it as a good all-rounder that has so many uses. This has certainly proved to be true - it is used almost every day in our house - from frying in the roasting oven to casseroles in the simmering oven with the lid on - it is never redundant in the pan drawer! Well worth every penny. Definitely recommended, lid and all! Thanks for a brilliant quality product!

Versatile panThis pan is very useful both on the plates and in the oven. It is ideal for stews and casseroles, one-pot meals starting on the top to bring to the boil then 'slow cooking' in the bottom oven. The detachable handle means it is easy to check how the food is cooking without having to reach for an oven glove - it's also looks great and can go from oven to table in any setting
