This pan is very useful both on the plates and in the oven. It is ideal for stews and casseroles, one-pot meals starting on the top to bring to the boil then 'slow cooking' in the bottom oven. The detachable handle means it is easy to check how the food is cooking without having to reach for an oven glove - it's also looks great and can go from oven to table in any setting
