My very old, much loved Le Creuset pans were due for retirement and I needed a new set that worked both on my Aga and induction hob. I bought the 22cm pan first, to try it out, and was so impressed I ordered the whole set a few weeks later. These pans are not as heavy as Le Creuset but heavy enough to be solid on the hob - in other words, they won't slide around. The chunky handles are great, give a very good grip, especially if you're wearing thick oven gloves. The pans are really easy to clean, which is a bonus. The brushed stainless steel is perhaps not as exciting as my red Le Creuset, but these pans beat it in every other respects. I'm couldn't be more pleased and will consider buying some of the saucepans in due course to complete the set.
