Serves 2
Ingredients
- 2 lamb steaks
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp chopped rosemary
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- Salt and black pepper
Method
Trim the lamb fillets of any excess fat and place into a dish. Max together the oil, rosemary, garlic and seasoning. Pour this over the lamb and leave to marinate for about an hour.
2, 3 and 4 oven AGA: To grill the lamb, place a ridged AGA grill pan on the Simmering Plate, then transfer to the Boiling Plate until very hot. Place the lamb in the grill pan, pressing down to make contact. Cook for about 3-5 minutes then turn and transfer to the floor of the Roasting Oven for a further 10-15 minutes or until cooked through to your liking – time will also depend upon the thickness of the steaks.
Place the grilled lamb onto warmed serving plates and serve with roasted vegetables or green salad.
Rayburn & Conventional Cooking: Cook in a grill pan on the hotplate or hob.
