A must for keeping your Aga looking like new.I can honestly say I was never remotely interested in having an Aga, but we were having a big kitchen extension and my husband insisted. Memories of a happy farmhouse childhood. Well I adore it and can't imagine life without one now. I hated even being in our old kitchen and now I rarely leave. I want to cherish the Aga and these mats are a must to keeping the lids looking like new and so handy for putting hot pans on.

BrilliantThey do wear out but only because these pads are SO useful and therefore used daily. The product description says it all. Originally purchased to protect the lids, they are heat resistant enough to protect hands from hot handles and roasting tins. Wouldn't be without them.

MagnetsKeeps my lids shiny and clean, but would be useful if there was a magnetic attachment so they don't fall off when I open the lid!

UsefulProtects your aga - saves grabbing tea towels to protect the surfaces. I like the black side up & my husband likes the cream. Good monitor of who is cooking the most as to which colour is visible!!

Useful Tip..Attach a loop of ribbon, and slide it between coils of lid handle. This prevents pad from sliding off when lids are lifted, but also enables easy removal when using as a pot grab. Been using these for years, the Aga's not dressed without them!

EssentialFind these so useful. I use them as a pot grab and to protect the surfaces. I also feel that they help to retain the heat of the aga when placed over the lids.
